Alice Kitsune, young switchy rigger based in Rome with a master degree in clinical psychology and human sexology, discovered ropes by accident in October 2014, when she was randomly seated next to Red Lily, attending a sexology conference, and then going out for pizza together right away. The next day she got suspended for her first time, the day after that she started tying and taking lessons with who became her teacher, mentor and friend. She is, since then, dedicating more and more energies to her ropes and all the world revolving around them, with deep love, curiosity, care and gratitude. In these years she had the chance to participate in workshops by great artists as Kazami Ranki, Gorgone, Andrea Ropes, Osaka Dan, Gestalta, Pedro Cordas, Boris Mosafir, SkinnyRedHead and more.
Her studies have a great influence in her way of seeing and doing ropes and BDSM in general, infused with a deep curiosity of body functioning and management. Being a switch, to her eyes shibari is one the greatest ways to express the inner self, to experience new paths of our own mind and body using the connection that top and bottom create together with empathy, trust, care and respect.
